(a) Building - Any structure built for support, shelter or enclosure of persons, animals, chattels or property of any kind.
(b) House Trailer -- A vehicular, portable dwelling unit designed especially for short term occupancy, such as travel trainers, campers and converted buses.
(c) Mobile Home -- A movable, detached single-family dwelling unit with the following characteristics:
(1) Designed and constructed on a chassis that is capable of being transported after fabrication on its own wheels or detachable wheels.
(2) Arrives at the site where it is to be occupied as a dwelling complete, and ready for occupancy, except for minor incidentals.
(3) Not to be placed on a foundation, as required for a permanent structure.
(d) Double Wide Mobile Home -- The same as mobile home, except that it is placed side-by-side and interconnected to make one unit upon installation on site of occupancy.
(e) Mobile Home Park -- A parcel or trace of land used or intended to be used by one or more occupied mobile homes, and approved by the city.
It shall be unlawful for any person to occupy a mobile home, double or single, or a house trailer, in the city unless already occupied before October 5, 1976 or unless such mobile home or house trailer is located in a mobile home park.

A person may purchase a lot and place within it, a double wide mobile home, on a permanent foundation of concrete. Concrete blocks, bricks, timbers, etc. are not allowable.

This article shall cover the entire city limits of the city except in those additions that have excluded any type of mobile home being placed within that addition.

This article shall apply as necessary to meet the aesthetic requirements of R1 zoning.

These regulations shall apply to all mobile homes and house trailers within the corporate limits of the City of Galva, Kansas, as presently exists or hereafter established. No Mobile homes may be brought into a park within the City that has not been inspected by the City Building Inspector prior to being located within a mobile home park. No mobile homes constructed prior to 10 years from the date of the request to be brought into a mobile home park will be allowed.
